In this way, startups can ask each mentor a question, get advice on product development, team building, marketing, sales, and certification. In addition, the program includes reports, during which speakers will talk about typical mistakes when submitting an online application to the accelerator and share useful recommendations for project preparation.

Every year, Bayer recruits members to the G4A accelerator, who receive funding and mentor support working directly at the company’s pharmaceutical headquarters in Berlin for 100 days. During this period, startups focus on experimenting with new technologies and business models, adopt international experience, learn from the middle of the corporation’s mechanisms of operation, improve their development and have the opportunity to interact with other companies and investors. The main condition for the candidates is that their development (software, devices, technologies) should contribute to the improvement of patients’ health, prevention or diagnosis of diseases.
Evgen Borukhovich, Global Head, G4A Digital Health at Bayer: “The innovative ecosystem in Ukraine is developing rapidly, and the healthtech area is attracting more and more attention and new specialists. I am very pleased that for the second year in a row Ukrainian talented startups will be able to take part in the international accelerator G4A, which provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience and accelerate the process of testing their ideas in the reality of life. I am proud that since the launch of our first initiative in 2013, Bayer has already supported more than 120 companies in the field of digital medicine.”
